Orientation
Orientation to Safety Training
Knowing how to be safe on the job is important for everyone at the company. In order to reach all employees, this new online safety training is replacing the previous face-to-face training method. This format, known as blended learning, marries the use of computers to learn with a trainer delivering a lecture. For example, instead of taking a lot of time off to attend an off-site training, you can participate in sessions that may work better for your schedule.
You will interact with the course with the CMS - content management system. When viewing a video or downloading a presention, you can stay on this orientation site and access various forms of multimedia.
Before you start your safety training, review the information provided on this orientation page. You will find valuable information on the technology you will encounter while taking the course, a helpful guide to being a successful distance learner, and a list of online resources to help you with your distance learning.
